B&T Property Maintenance — trading as Dunedin Landscaping — provides landscaping and property maintenance services to residential property owners across Dunedin and surrounding areas. The business is owner-operated by Tony Thorner, a former farmer and lifestyle block owner with hands-on experience across earthmoving, fencing, vegetation management, and general property work.
A common problem for residential property owners is that many outdoor jobs are too large to tackle by hand but too small to justify bringing in a full-scale contractor. Our equipment is sized to fit this gap. The core of our fleet is a 2-tonne digger — compact enough to access most residential sections through a standard gate, yet capable of genuine earthmoving, trenching, and site preparation. For larger excavation jobs, we also have access to bigger excavators.
All work is covered by full public liability insurance and a comprehensive site health and safety plan.

Our 2-tonne digger is fitted with rock, tilt, and grab buckets. It is compact enough to access residential sections through standard gates and side entrances, and has the capacity for genuine earthmoving, trenching, and site preparation. For larger excavation jobs we also have access to bigger diggers when required.
For vegetation work we run a flail mower and mulcher that handles overgrown grass, scrub, gorse, and broom. A tipper truck provides cartage for soil, gravel, bark, mulch, green waste, and general loads. We also operate a ride-on mower for larger lawns and sections.
